the adventures continue!

The fun thing about moving to an unfamiliar area is that practically everything is something new and different. And since we want to buy a home down here, we have to check out all the options around us so we find ourselves exploring different towns nearby whenever we can.
.
Today was another day of exploration. We began our day with breakfast at a 50s-themed diner at the end of the Oceanside pier. After breakfast we walked the boardwalk, hugged a few palm trees and then drove north to Orange County to check out San Clemente. We wandered through the farmer's market (where we picked up a loaf of "Rockin' Red Pepper & Dill Sourdough" bread -- yum!) and the main shopping strip, walked out on the pier and grabbed a slice of pizza on the beach. Thomas enjoyed samples at the farmer's market and chasing the pigeons on the pier; Meredith enjoyed watching him. It was a really fun time!
