Our family loves a good parade but it seems that there just aren't as many these days compared to when Mike and I were young. Last year we missed the Mother Goose parade in El Cajon but this year we are in town so we drove down to see the parade this morning. The kids loved it. The horses, the inflated characters, the princesses, the fire engines... to them, it's all good. It was a real hometown sort of parade and enjoyable for everyone.
