Terra Mar Beach in Carlsbad

We are always out exploring the area and, after almost three years of living here, one would think that we'd probably seen all there is to do, at least in our own small "village by the sea", right? But today we saw a beach we've never seen before and found it to be a great place for tidepooling. I guess we dismissed this beach because it's a big surfer's beach and neither of us surf. However, another mom recently told me about the tidepools down there so I knew we needed to go check it out. Today wasn't the best day for tidepooling (cool winds and approaching rain), but it was still a nice little visit. I'm looking forward to going again on a warmer day!.
