Thomas' pick for Spring Break fun today: The San Diego Natural History Museum, affectionately referred to as theNAT. It's all stuff about dinosaurs, other prehistoric creatures and about what California looked like millions of years ago -- he absolutely loves it. We were happy that our invited friends were able to join us today. We toured the museum for two hours, headed out into the sunshine to enjoy a picnic near the large fountain in Balboa Park, then resumed our tour of theNAT until the Sharks3D movie started at 2pm. Another hour of touring the museum and we were done. Since Balboa Park was so busy that day, both my friend and I ended up parking in the Zoo's parking lot so on the walk back to our cars we stopped for a ride on the miniature steam engine. The kids loved it. What a fun day for us all!
