M took the kids to the Zoo today so I could spend some time doing whatever I wanted. This, of course, was after I returned home from an early morning run to a yummy quiche baking and homemade cards from the kids. They were so excited to give them to me -- that was truly the best part of my day. It was nice to spend the day taking care of myself and running some errands on my own... but I missed some fun times with the family today!
