I'm a big fan of flip flops. I love the ease and comfort of slipping them on and heading out the door in a matter of seconds. I purchased a pair from Target specifically for picking up dog poop in the backyard so Thomas has taken to calling all flip flops "dog poop shoes". He's been wearing his Keen sandals around town which I love, but they don't work so well at the beach since sand collects in the sandal. So this week we finally purchased him his very own (and first!) pair of flip flops. He loves them. As with all new shoes, he has fallen and scraped up his knees pretty good, but he's really enjoying having his very own pair of "dog poop shoes" (though he won't actually be required to clean up the yard in them, yet!). It won't be long before he has flip flop tan lines just like his mama -- and it's only early March!
